Recent Past Concerts

April 2014 Jeremy Woodside, our conductor, extended the Mid Wessex Singers again. Our concert of ¬†Music Ancient and Modern spanned four centuries and opened with Bach¬†‘Cantata Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme, BWV140’. This was composed in 1731 and sets the texts for the 27th Sunday after Trinity. This only comes around every eleven years …
